We peer into the looking glass with designers who envision how The Wall by Samsung will transform the way we live, work and play
-
The Covid-19 crisis has dramatically changed our way of life, with one major shift being the acceleration of digitalisation as more of us turn to remote solutions. We ask three design firms to share their thoughts on how the latest display technology is set to change not just the look of our homes but also the design of offices and hotels in the near future.
TO THE MOVIES
Staying indoors can be made more enjoyable with a thrilling home cinema experience. Samsung’s The Wall is among the designers’ top picks for an impressive cinema-like setting. The screen stands apart from the competition—and not just for its sheer size. It also features black seal technology that rejects ambient light to create a non-reflective display with brilliant colours in various lighting conditions.
“I have personally experienced The Wall and it certainly was an impressive experience that few displays can match,” shares Isabelle Miaja, founder of Miaja Design Group. The designer recently proposed this screen to a number of her clients.
