The Surrey Artist of the Year competition is a highlight in Surrey’s creative calendar and celebrates the wealth of artistic talent in the county.

A partnership between Farnham’s New Ashgate Gallery and Surrey Artists Open Studios (SAOS), the final exhibition of The Surrey Artist of the Year competition showcases a collective of local quality arts and craft as voted for by the public during their visits to SAOS.
This year 297 artists participated and over 21,500 visitors flocked to their studios in June. Following the Open Studios the top scoring artists come together for a programme of events.
