Hacking away the pre-existing black tiles, the flooring now employs the use of large format homogeneous tiles, which minimises the number of visible grout lines in the design. Meanwhile, the use of mirrored and high-gloss cabinet fronts helps to visually lengthen the narrow space.

2. Dining
Situated at the base of the staircase, the dining zone was kitted out with a table and bench, a pair of stools and three Tom Dixon pendant lights. Encompassing storage solutions beneath, the bench can also be converted into a daybed. Meanwhile, the cement grey textures of the newly overlaid flooring further enhance the industrial vibe of the home.
