A member of both the South African Council for the Architectural Profession and the South African Institute of Architects, SBE has become known for projects rooted in the hallmark characteristics of boldness, synergy and excellence. The firm’s design philosophy is aptly demonstrated through the clean, modern lines of this beautiful house.
The very first house to be called “home” by an excited home owner, this new build stands out for its modernity – a trait that is reflected in every aspect, from structure to layout and design.
Modern does not equal cold or sterile in this case, however. The home owner’s wish was to create a warm, welcoming space that instantly makes visitors feel as though they are in a home away from home, and this was realised through her interior designer.
