If you do like to be beside the seaside, then you are certainly not alone. Coastal properties in Scotland are becoming increasingly popular, with potential buyers seeking out a home that offers sea air and sandy beaches.

According to George Lorimer, head of residential agency for Galbraith in Fife and Angus, properties by the sea are in high demand. “There is often intense competition for good coastal properties with character, in popular locations, offering high-quality accommodation. As with all lifestyle properties, buyers need to be ready to act quickly when one comes on the market.”
