Beloved by fashionistas and designers alike, the colour black lends itself to all things cool. Young designer Gene Li was pleasantly surprised that her client had a clear idea of what he wanted and that his favourite colour was chic black. This semidetached house spaciously clocking in at approximately 2,700 sq ft is home to a single young man living with his mother and sister. The introduction was made by Li’s schoolmate, who had been business partners with the client. “The client and I sealed the deal during our first meeting and he passed me his house keys right away even before the contract and quotation were prepared. He reacted very sincerely and respectfully, and completely handed off the decision making to me and also had massive confidence in me, which is something I greatly appreciated. As an ID, besides a fair deal, a respectful client is all we want,” enthuses Li.
