“We’ve always been fond of Rachel’s design perspective and especially impressed with her use of color,” Lindsey says. “Rachel uses color in new and unexpected ways. Just when you think you’ve got her figured out, she pulls out a completely different design perspective never seen before.”

Envisioning that a young family will one day live in the Carlton Landing home, the team plans a fresh and fun vibe, with vibrant colors and family-friendly materials. The Morrises reside full-time in Carlton Landing with their son and daughter, while Rachel’s family, which includes her realtor husband and their two sons, owns a secondary home in the same lakeside community.

J.J. and Lindsey’s aesthetic for Scissortail Homes has a clean and modern feel, and Rachel’s quirky use of color is a perfect match for the project.
