• 8 square white tonal

• 8 square yellow tonal

• 6 square blue print

• 3 square orange tonal

• Backing to size

• Batting to size

• 2 (3/8-diameter) black buttons

• 3 (5/8-diameter) black buttons

• 4 square paper-backed fusible web

• Template material

• Threads to match plus black

• Basic sewing tools and supplies

Read all instructions before beginning this project.

Stitch with right sides together using a 1/4 seam allowance unless otherwise specified.

Materials and cutting lists assume 40 usable fabric width. HST – half-square triangle

CUTTING

• Prepare templates for scarf and carrot nose using patterns provided.

From assorted gray prints & tonals cut:

• 12 (31/2) A squares

• 6 (11/4) D squares

• 3 (4) F squares

From white tonal cut:

• 3 (31/2) C squares

From yellow tonal cut:

• 3 (31/2) B squares then cut once diagonally

• 6 (11/4) E squares
