Single-use TC gaskets and their importance

Now a days, gaskets are used in food, dairy, beverage, biotech, pharmaceutical and many other sanitary-process industries to seal clamp connections in sanitary pipelines. Single-use is fast growing in the biopharmaceutical industry. Often, designing a new single-use system involves a long and iterative process between the end-user and the supplier, to ensure that the quality, regulatory and technical requirements are met.

A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects, while under compression.

There are many types of gaskets - Tri-clover (TC) gasket, mesh TC gasket, envelope TC gasket with bush, sensore and validation TC gaskets.
