Dave's Secret Sauce

Today’s radios are first-rate, and modern servos are superb, so we pilots tend to cover up some sins through modern technology. The truth is, to fully benefit from our super radios we need to start correctly with the basics. The concept I outline here works on any setup: scale, IMAC, jets, you name it. Start with these steps, and then you can season to your individual taste!

Step One: Crank Up Your Transmitter! In your transmitter, start with at least 125 percent on all throws—even throttle! I use a minimum of 130 percent on my JR. Using less reduces system resolution and torque. Don’t give away your newfound advantage!
