Shilton's New SR Series
The Complete Fly Fisherman
|August/September 2018
This issue: We take an overview of the SR, Shilton’s new salt water series of reels.
-

If there has ever been a “proudly made in South Africa” moment, Shilton can rightly lay claim to it. From their launch, its reels were well received by the South African fly fishing fraternity and went on to gain international fame and recognition. This is true especially of the salt water models, which have proved their mettle in the harsh conditions of the Seychelles, one of the hardest testing grounds for salt water reels, and they match up well – and even better – against some of the best reels that the international market can produce.
