A Leaving aside the numerous issues relating to rig mechanics and rig safety that clearly play a part in hook loss, there are times when we all leave a hook in a fish, sometimes in the lips, sometimes deeper in the mouth and sometimes in the back of the throat or in the gut, the nightmare scenario for many anglers.
