BEST WOMEN’S FRAGRANCE

LES EAUX DE CHANEL EDT, £99 EACH FOR 125ML

Consider these three fragrances your luxe-as-hell tour guides, as they transport you to glamorous destinations frequented by Gabrielle Chanel. First stop, Paris-Deauville. Orange rind and basil leaf conjure up morning dew on knee-high blades of grass before rose, jasmine and woody patchouli gets turned up. More of a beach lover? Crashing waves and sun-dappled skin are funneled into Paris-Biarritz, thanks to grapefruit, vetiver and an aqueous note. Or, hitch a sensory ride on the Orient Express, as the tanginess of geranium mingles with amber, vanilla, and cedar in Paris-Venise. Another bonus: each juice is undercut with citrus fruits as fresh as a top-down road trip.

BEST INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY

CHLOÉ NOMADE EDP, £62 FOR 50ML

Sparking your wanderlust is a pretty tall order for a fragrance. For master perfumer Quentin Bisch it meant departing from the rosy smells that have become Chloé classics in favor of something more boho. This one is earthy and peppered with oakmoss, sweet plum and a fresh blast of freesia. The bottle deserves a special mention, too: with its O-shaped curves, it allows a transparent rosy light to filter through, imbibing sunsets and the smell of adventure.
