A celebration of never-ending manifestation of new perspective, the Dior Men's Autumn 2022 by Kim Jones reimagined the Beat Generation.
One part presentation and one part exhibition, the Dior Men's Autumn 2022 runway show was the first time the brand presented in London in more than 70 years. Inside the glass-roofed Olympia, a dark room was filled with museum-standard exhibition of rare books by epochal beat poets and authors: Allen Ginsberg's Empty Mirror, alongside Jack Kerouac's Dharma Bums. Drawing inspiration from the Jack Kerouac who was famed for his rhythmic and spontaneous writings much like the creations of Christian Dior himself, artistic direction of menswear Kim Jones paid tribute to Kerouac by erecting a continuous 120-foot runway-sized scroll with text from his On The Road, one of the defining works of the Beat Generation.
