1. Let’s start from the beginning. How would you like people to address you?

- My Name is Chrissy Jackson & I use She/Her pronouns.

2. Tell me about your childhood?

- My Childhood was simple but hard at times... I grew up in New Jersey with a middle class family whom I love very much & who has eventually learned to be supportive of me & my lifestyle.

3. When did you realize you were unique and wanted to Transition

- Since I could remember really...LoL... I have always taken pride in following the beat of my own drum & not allowing other people's decisions, or perceptions to sway me.

4. Was there any emotional confusion when you discovered you wished to Transition?

- Umm... yes within me there was a little difficulty by me being so young, and just trying to figure it all out I definitely had some hard internal emotional stress

5. What was your family/friends/relatives reaction?

- It wasn't much of a surprise... LoL... my family has been, and is very loving & they are also supportive now. I am very blessed to have them in my life

6. What was your father’s reaction?

- My dad is Amazing!! My parents whole thing now is just for me to be safe in whatever endeavors I choose in life. I am aware that not every Trans person or member of the LGBTQ community have that grounded love & support that I now have so that makes me sad but at the same time I appreciate my parents now being open and willing to learn and providing all the love & support and I cherish it greatly.
