KNOWN FOR HIS RIVETING WORK (AS ALSO FOR HIS STRIKING GOOD LOOKS AND CORUSCATING WIT!), JIM SARBH IS IN NO MOOD TO SLOW DOWN. AT HIS CANDID BEST, OUR DIGITAL COVERSTAR OPENS UP ABOUT PERFORMING ACROSS MEDIUMS, LIVING LIFE AS A WORKAHOLIC, WHY HE’S FEELING A BIT “NEEDY” THESE DAYS, AND HOW HE’S A SECRET ROMANTIC!

“I've never believed in the idea of a typical BOLLYWOOD HERO”

Jim Sarbh is trying to get his Internet connection restored when we call in for this interview. “Sorry, sorry, it’s been acting up for a few days...these guys will take just a few minutes”, he promises, apologising profusely. As we both wait for the snag to be repaired, it is difficult to ignore the irony! Jim’s Internet might be tardy at the moment, but the digital space has certainly propelled the actor to greater heights of success and stardom. Who can forget Adil Khanna from the Netflix series, Made In Heaven: the obnoxious industrialist who cheats on his wife with her best friend?! Or Keki from Flip: Jim’s role as a much-in-love Parsi boy, with marriage on the cards, who suddenly has his whole life tossed upside down! There are many more, equally poignant performances, and across mediums— including theatre and films.
