DC superhero shows The Flash and arrow are back for more thrilling adventures
-

In their superhero roles as The Flash and The Green Arrow, actors Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell have had a sometimes uneasy relationship on screen.
But according to Gustin, who plays Barry Allen, aka The Flash, that rivalry could well become a thing of the past – as viewers saw in the recent epic four-episode crossover before Christmas when the characters combined forces with Supergirl and the Legends team to defeat hostile alien race the Dominators.
‘When we wrapped up the crossover, Green Arrow and The Flash were on the best terms they’ve ever been on,’ says Gustin. ‘It’s the same off screen.’
Indeed, life is looking good for everyone connected with The Flash and Arrow, which return to Sky1 this week after their mid-season breaks, along with companion series Supergirl (see panel right) and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (see page 6). All of the shows are ratings hits and have been renewed for further seasons.
