As 007’s right-hand woman Moneypenny in the James Bond films, Naomie Harris has faced her fair share of dramatic moments – but now she is uncovering shocking revelations of her own in Who Do You Think You Are?

The actress became interested in researching her family history after receiving an unusual gift.

‘I’d never been concerned about my ancestry until my mum gave me a DNA kit as a present and I discovered I was almost 50 per cent Nigerian,’ she reveals. ‘It sparked my interest because I realised I knew nothing.’
