Pop superstars McFly look back on their career

McFlying high!

Back in 2003, four British teenagers formed the boy band McFly, taking their name from Michael J Fox’s character, Marty McFly, in the hit 1985 sci-fi comedy film Back to the Future.

Their debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, came out the following year and debuted at No.1. When their second album, Wonderland, released in 2005, followed suit, McFly became the youngest band to have topped the UK album charts twice. The group went on to have seven more chart-toppers, sold more than 10 million records worldwide, and won a BRIT Award in 2005.
