Fading Queen Elizabeth is suffering from dementia, but in a rare moment of clarity she’s resolved to bypass Prince Charles — and name Prince William and wife Kate as successors to the crown!

Sources have told The National ENQUIRER the 92-year old British monarch summoned Charles to Buckingham Palace to deliver the most devastating news of his life — he’ll never be king!

The hush-hush move is set to be announced to the public next year, but Charles won’t be around — after his mother ordered him banished!

“The queen has thrown protocol out the window and shocked everyone by deciding to skip a generation and name her favorite grandson instead of her oldest son as the next monarch,” said a palace insider.

“She may be losing her memory, but not her marbles! It may seem audacious to some, but Elizabeth has always felt privately that Charles lacked the fortitude to rule.
