SICKLY and frail, Robert F. Kennedy’s widow, Ethel, is facing her final days alone — emotionally ravaged by tragedy and filled with regret over denying herself love following her husband’s assassination more than 50 years ago, sources dish.
Adding to her woes, the 91-year-old matriarch’s prickly personality has forced a wedge between her and almost everyone who’s not on her payroll — including her own children, according to sources.
The great-grandmother, who insiders say relies on a wheelchair, gave up her Virginia compound years ago and now splits her time between homes in Palm Beach, Fla., and Cape Cod, Mass.
