Too fat to walk chihuahua gets new leash on life

CLEATUS the chihuahua was so fat, he had to be carried outside to poop. But now he’s a new dog after shedding more than half his scale smashing 35 pounds in just a year.

While Cleatus weighs 16.8 pounds — compared to the six pounds of a normal chihuahua — owner Austin Lee says the 15-year-old pooch is bursting with pep thanks to a new diet and medical and dental treatments.
