BRITAIN’S new Queen Kate is undergoing secret treatment for her eating disorder after her husband William demanded she get help — or get a divorce! Now palace insiders say her decision has brought the couple closer together than ever — and may even have saved the 89-pound beauty’s life.

“This is a total turnaround for Kate,” says a member of their royal court. “She was in denial — insisting she wasn’t forcing herself to throw up — and refused to even discuss the issue.”

William, 34, was terrified for Kate’s health, especially since his beloved mother, the late Princess Diana, secretly battled an eating disorder during her marriage to Prince Charles.

“William sees jarring similarities between his mom and his wife,” says the courtier. “Both struggled to cope with life in the fish bowl that is the royal family.

“The pressure on Kate has only increased since William was named Queen Elizabeth’s official successor a few weeks ago. Kate is terrified she’ll fail — and worried her father-in-law Charles’ impending trial for Diana’s murder will destroy the monarchy.
