How has the cinema camera evolved over the years?

The evolution of cinema cameras started with the introduction of digital cameras in the film era. However, with the desire to create more cinematic images, digital cameras were further developed to capture higher recording formats expanding from HD, 4K and now even 8K. Even the data management system evolved to accept higher resolution for streamlined workflow in the post-production stage. The latest shift in cinema line is the Full Frame sensor size offering a wide dynamic range, compatible with fullframe lenses.
