Google and others are cutting ties with the Chinese tech company.
-

Google has suspended business with Huawei that includes the transfer of hardware, software and other technical services. This will however exclude those which are publicly available via open source licensing. What this means, is that holders of current Huawei smartphones will still be able to use and download app updates from Google.
"We are complying with the order and reviewing the implications,” A spokesperson for Google said.
“For users of our services, Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices,” the spokesperson said, without giving further details.
