Kaleshwaram is a village in Boopalpally district of Telangana. The place is also known as the Kasi of South India, as it is the abode of Lord Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swami or Lord Shiva.

It is in Kaleshwaram that one of India’s most expensive irrigation projects is being set up by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government at an estimated cost of about Rs 80,000 crores.
