Wedding Alfred & Yasmine

|October 2017
Filipino-Italian beauty Yasmine Espiritu is the Lucy Torres in the life of actor-politician Alfred Vargas.

Like the Ormocanon Lucy, who used to admire actor Richard “Goma” Gomez from afar, Yasmine was also Alfred’s fan. Now Lucy, who’s on her second term as representative of the fourth district of Leyte province, is the wife of the moreno Goma, the incumbent mayor of Ormoc City, Leyte. And again, like Lucy, Yasmine is now married to the moreno actor of her choice, Alfred, the incumbent congressman of the fifth district of Quezon City.
Like Lucy, Yasmine was not sure whether or not she’d ever meet, in person, the handsome hunky fellow that she had been seeing on TV.
Alfred, for his part, was unlike his idol, Richard Gomez. It took time for Goma to realize that Lucy was the one for him. But Alfred fell for Yasmine the moment he laid eyes on her nine years ago.
Indeed, it was love at first sight for both Alfred and Yasmine. And call it mystical: from the very first instance that they laid eyes on each other, they both knew they would be marrying each other.
TISAY MEETS MORENO HUNK
Yasmine was born to a Filipino mother and an Italian father in the city of Milan, the main financial and industrial center of Italy.
It was in Milan that Yasmine grew up and spent her elementary school years. Then the family moved to Busana, a comune, or municipality, in the Emilia Romagna region in northern Italy. Afterwards, the family moved again, this time to Trento, the capital city of the province of Trentino, farther north in Italy. “’Tapos, bumalik na naman kami sa Milan,” Yasmine tells YES!
Through the years, Yasmine would visit the Philippines—Sta. Cruz, Laguna, in particular—for short vacations and to reunite with her maternal relatives.
