It’s only been six months since Katy Perry, then weeks away from giving birth, braved the California summer heat for a glamorous cover shoot for WHO’s sister publication People. “Everything has changed!” she exclaimed over the phone. “How amazing!”

In August the pop star, 36, and her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 44, announced the birth of their first child together, a daughter named Daisy Dove, who arrived just days before th release of Perry’s sixth studio album, Smile. After six weeks of maternity leave, the singe returned to American Idol in a custom Christian Siriano head-to-toe cow-print costume. “MUTHA MILKS is back to werk,” she quipped on Instagram. “Not pictured: my pumping breaks.”
