THE DUO INVITE WHO TO JOIN THEM AS THEY RENEW THEIR WEDDING VOWS, 10 YEARS ON

Renewing their wedding vows on the crest of a hill high above rolling grassland which was newly green after recent rains, Grant and Cheryl “Chezzi” Denyer felt on top of the world.

Ten years after tying the knot on tropical Hamilton Island, the Dancing with the Stars host and his effervescent wife wanted to reaffirm the love that has sustained them through so many ups and downs.

But this time daughters Sailor, 8, and Scout, 4, could be present and, in keeping with the family’s country lifestyle, the celebration took place near their Bathurst home, just down the road from Chezzi’s birthplace in Duramana, Central West NSW.

“It’s a real shame the girls weren’t born when we got married before, so it’s great we could do this for them now,” says Denyer, 42, flashing the infectious grin that helped to make him a Gold Logie-winning TV favourite.

There was laughter aplenty and tears in equal measure when the self-styled “soulmates” exchanged vows on February 27 in front of civil celebrant Kirralee Burke and a small group of family and close friends, who travelled to the isolated location in a convoy of four-wheel-drives.

“I didn’t want to cry, but it’s so emotional when you say the words you’ve written out loud,” smiled Chezzi, 40, stunning in an embroidered ivory Zimmermann gown.
