Days: Ben Reveals That Will Is Alive!

After crashing the double wedding, Ben drops the bombshell that Will is alive. “The fact that Will is alive is great news for Ben,” previews Robert Scott Wilson (Ben). “Will was one of his good friends. He didn’t want to kill him. So Ben is trying to clear his conscience, and hopefully, clear his name, as well.”

Of course, another agenda is also at play with Ben. “Everyone in town has something against Ben,” says Wilson. “He thinks that they changed him into the person he became, so Ben’s attitude is, ‘I’m clearing my name. Screw all of you.’ So there is a part of Ben that is playing a game, especially with Sonny.”

The news that Will could be alive hits Sonny hard. “Seeing Ben again, Sonny feels a combination of hurt and rage,” describes Freddie Smith (Sonny). “More than once, Sonny has imagined what he would do, or say, to Ben if he ever saw him again. So initially, Sonny thinks that Ben is lying. His attitude is, ‘Of course, Ben would say something like that just to ruin Sonny’s day.’ ”

When Sonny confronts Ben and demands to see Will, there is a hitch. “Ben doesn’t know where Will is,” relays Wilson. “So he can’t bring Will to them. That’s part of the mystery. He’s hoping that Will can be found.”
