Ben is still on the fence about having a child, so he turns to Marlena for guidance. “He’s got mixed feelings about it because of his genetics and his family,” explains Robert Scott Wilson (Ben).

“He’s worried that he’s going to put a bad seed into this world after he’s done so much to try to change for the best. The last thing he wants to do is bring somebody in that could have his traits or have something his father or sister had. He’s really nervous about it.”

But the fact that Ciara wants a family weighs on his heart. “It’s been a desire of his, too, but now that it’s become a reality, you start thinking a little bit more clearly about things and maybe over-thinking things,” Wilson adds. “Ultimately, he wants to do anything to keep her happy and give her what she wants and he wants, too, but he has a lot of doubts at this point.”
