You have recently made comments about the BJP ruling government and the PM Narendra Modi. This has raised quite a hornet’s nest.

Even though I am a part of the BJP think tank and a party member, I feel that some of Modi’s policies like demonetization and GST have only added to the misery of the people and that demonetization didn’t bring back any black money stashed in the Swiss accounts, neither did it clean up the administration nor did the GST club all the taxes, but it only gave the public more resentment against us.

Your children, daughter Sonakshi, and sons Luv and Kussh are successful in their right paths. Who do you attribute it to? Your Sinha family name or is it something else?

You can credit destiny to be a part of the reason for the success of my children. Also, the blessings of myself and my wife Poonam and the culture with which we have brought them up. That have made them courteous children. Sonakshi is a good actor having made a good debut in Dabangg, Luv too is a good actor having made a good debut in Saadiyyan and Kussh has the makings of a good director as he has directed a much acclaimed short film and very soon, he will be starting his own feature film.

You recently praised Rahul Gandhi when he was nominated as the President of the Congress Party? What are the qualities in him that made you praise him and why?
