Are you relieved that Stree is a hit? Was it intentional to keep the film open-ended?
When I heard Stree’s story, I was like, ‘Arrey, this is like Inception ka ending! Personally, I enjoy openended endings because it just leaves you guessing. It’s just so nice to be a part of a film that’s gotten so much love and support. Of course, success and failure are a part of this industry and I’ve tried not to be too attached to either. And it still hasn’t sunk in that Stree has been declared a blockbuster! People are saying that they want a part 2. If we get a story or whatever it might become a sequel. Hopefully I’ll be in it! I just find it so cool that a content driven film like Stree has such good numbers. I think it’s very inspiring and gives people hope to make a lot more films like that.
