TOM CRUISE’S profanity-laced tirade on the “Mission: Impossible” set showed a complete “psychological breakdown” by the stressed-out superstar, sources said.

Experts told The National ENQUIRER that Tom’s rage is a desperate cry for help, but insiders claimed his devotion to the controversial church of Scientology will prevent him from getting the help he needs!

The 58-year-old actor has been under the gun for months, acting in and producing two high-octane “M:I” movies back-to-back in the midst of a pandemic that’s caused multiple delays and budget-busting overruns, sources said.

He finally cracked while filming in London and launched an almighty rant — which was caught on tape and then went viral — when he spotted two team members standing too close together and violating COVID protocol.

On the tape, published by The Sun newspaper in the U.K. on Dec. 15, Tom screeched: “I’m on the phone with every f--king studio at night!

“Insurance companies, producers. And they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies!

“We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf--kers.”
