Kirk Douglas wasn’t just a Hollywood icon – he was the glue holding his son Michael’s marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones together. And just days after the legend’s funeral, sources tell NW that the Chicago star finally got the balls to sit her hubby down for a bombshell announcement.
“I want out,” the 50-yearold reportedly told Michael, 75, leaving him “blindsided” and “begging her not to leave”, according to a family insider.
After months of back and forth, it was Kirk’s death that gave Catherine the push she needed.
