He’s spent the last few years rising to the very top of Hollywood’s A-list, but Australia’s hunkiest son Chris Hemsworth is taking time out and heading home in a desperate attempt to keep his young family together.

The actor, 34, confessed back in January that he’s chosen to pursue his career over his family at times in order to strike while the iron’s hot – and his marriage to Elsa Pataky suffered as a result.

But now Chris’s announced he’s taking a break for at least six months in order to spend more time with Elsa, 41, and their kids – India, five, and twins Tristan and Sasha, three.
