Although he grew up in bucolic Thal, Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger yearned to live in the U.S. from the time he was a kid. “The more I read stuff about the outside world, outside of Austria, the more I started feeling like, ‘I don’t think I was brought up in the right place,’” he admits. “That’s what convinced me that one day I have to be over here.”
