SUNDAY, 5:39 P.M.
When I settle down to watch Life in Pieces, all I can think about is food. Having just gotten married days ago, the no-carbs/no-fats/no-joy shackles have finally come off, and I plan on bingeing tonight in more ways than one. I hope I can enjoy this show predinner, because I’m thinking about how it’s been at least 20 minutes since I last ate some gluten and that seems like 20 minutes too long.
Luckily, I find myself immediately distracted by Thomas Sadoski, who is inexplicably appealing to me even though he’s almost always playing someone angry. Since I find it pretty much impossible to keep track of anyone’s name in this show until around episode 19, I’m calling Sadoski’s character Angry Sexy Man. (True name: Matt.)
