Before Truth or Dare, where Violett Beane stars as one of the Lucy Hale’s college chums tricked into playing the eponymous cursed party game, you probably saw her on the medical drama The Resident and the superhero smash The Flash. “The Flash was a turning point for me,” the Florida-native tells us over the phone from LA. “I had been auditioning a lot and sending in tapes, but I wasn’t sure if it was what I was going to do. And then getting booked on The Flash [to play speedster Jesse Quick] really woke me up to the world of acting, and made me really love it.”
2 She read for Truth or Dare three times.
