The first fallacy to kill is that to be successful in business you have to be a student of economic policy, making wise decisions that will benefit the community as a whole. Not true. The key to success in business remains to turn a profit. The fact that no less than six of Trump’s business operations failed to do so, brings his business acumen into severe doubt.
However, he excelled in one thing, selling himself to a large section of the American public that believed their lifestyle was under severe threat. It is, but no more so than people the world over.
