Initially when I read about the Vanghat Eco Lodge, it got me majorly excited. Then I read about a short 2 km odd trek to reach the lodge… the excitement level fell a bit. Then I read about taking a wooden raft to cross a river… there was definitely another emotional shift, but I am still trying to figure out if it was due to the fear of falling off a raft or using one for the first time! Whatever be the case, the Vanghat Eco Lodge evokes a multitude of emotions. Let’s try and capture them one at a time… in not any particular order!
