The city of Kolkata is incomplete without Science City.

The sprawling science-themed park located on the southern fringes of Kolkata is a crowd puller. The park is a unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and is the largest science centre in India. It was developed with a one-time capital grant from the Indian government in the late 1990s.
At present it has two facilities, the Science Centre and the Convention Centre. The Science Centre complex comprises of Space Odyssey, Dynamotion, Science Exploration Hall, Maritime Centre, Earth Exploration Hall and a Science Park. All these facilities are aimed to demonstrate various aspects of science in easy and practical ways.
