WHY THE MG TC IS A GOOD COLLECTIBLE

If someone asked me, what is a good collectible roadster; I would have no hesitation in naming the MG TC.

Therefore when Dr. Ravi Prakash, the President of the Federation of Historic Vehicles of India (FHVI), invited me to their inaugural event the Royal Classic Drive to Mysore in 2018, and offered to loan me a car from his collection, I immediately asked for his well-kept 1947 MG TC.

In my view, the MG TC has a timeless design and if you open the door while seated inside, it’s possible to touch the rear tyre, which is the true trademark of a perfectly proportioned roadster. The view over the long bonnet is beautiful and as the MG TC is a convertible, I prefer driving with the top down, which makes the resounding exhaust note even more enjoyable.
