YEZDI IS BACK WITH THREE MODELS – THE SCRAMBLER, ROADSTER AND ADVENTURE – AND WE SPEND A GLORIOUS DAY GETTING TO GRIPS WITH THE TRIO

YEZDI SCRAMBLER
Type 334cc, single-cyl, liquid-cooled
Max power 29.1PS @ 8,000rpm
Max torque 28.2Nm @ 6,750rpm
Kerb Weight 182kg
Suspension (F/R) Telescopic fork; Gas-charged twin shock absorbers with preload adjust
Fuel tank 12.5 litres
Price ₹2.07 lakh (ex-showroom)
Our day begins riding what I think is the most unique motorcycle currently offered by Classic Legends’ recently revived brand, Yezdi – the Scrambler. I think it so mainly due to two reasons: 1. the fact that there currently isn’t a scrambler style motorcycle available in the market at this price point, and 2. because of the way this bike looks. The Scrambler costs about Rs 2.05lakh ex-showroom and the next scrambler motorcycle available in India right now (barring the incoming RE Scram 411) is priced in excess of Rs 10 lakh.

Don't tread lightly: Radial vs Cross Ply Tyres
If you don't know the difference between radial and cross ply tyres, this article is for you. So, if you want to refresh your memory. Because, besides tread patterns, understanding the difference is crucial. Each type has its strengths and weaknesses, and the choice largely depends on your riding style, the terrain you frequent, and the performance you expect from your bike. While radial tyres are more commonly found on modern motorcycles, cross ply tyres still hold relevance - let's say in specific applications.
