The Thunderbird, Royal Enfield’s most dynamic brand in some ways, has come a long way. I remember it starting as a lusciously purple motorcycle with chrome meters and low pegs when I was still a fledgling journalist. I think the next big step came when the black 500km range Thunderbird arrived, the touring model. With the wider set forks for more dynamic capability and feel. And now, off the ribs of that bike, as it were, comes the new 500X. Are you ready for the 500X-files?
