There is little to doubt that step-by-step Renault is tightening its foothold in India. Rahul Ghosh details two more products which will make all the difference for the company in 2017
The first big launch for Renault in 2017 will be the Kwid based Climber. The company had showcased the variant at the last Auto Expo and had got positive feedback. So the Climber variant comes with additional cladding all around. There are scuff plates up front and back and the whole aura of the little hatch is transformed into a tougher-looking vehicle. The grille and headlamp guards add to the flair. Coupled to the already high clearance offered by the Kwid, this pseudo-SUV should do well in a country obsessed with them. Mechanically the Climber will be offered with the 1.0-litre engine only. However do not expect the Climber to come with AWD. As for pricing, the Kwid Climber will be priced slightly higher than the standard Kwid variants.
