It's 6.30 on a chilly Saturday morning and every village on the winding road from Idukki to Kochi was wide awake. Even early risers sleep in on the weekend, right? Instead, their wake-up call was the intoxicating sound of 40 plus supercars straining at their leashes. Far from a public nuisance, the locals were soaking in the sight of these spaceships on-wheels and cheering the cars on. Welcome to Super Sunday times two—Pete's Festival of Speed. The last time we attended Pete's Super Sunday, we left wishing for more. Apparently, a sentiment echoed by everyone in Kochi with an interest in speed (and there's a fair few). So Peter Chacko, the man behind Pete's Automotive and the South's fascination with remapped cars, has given the people what they want.
