NITI Aayog organised Indias first ever Global Move Summit, where chief guest PM Narendra Modi spoke about the government's electric plan for the country.
In the first week of September, the government’s policy think tank, NITI Aayog, organised India’s first ever Global MOVE Summit to create awareness regarding the need of electric vehicles (EVs) and a vision for future mobility. Prime Minister Modi unveiled a mobility road map that seeks investments in manufacturing EVs and increase the use of public transport. Modi also announced Centre’s vision for EVs and alternate fuel technology which will give boost to the e-mobility. The event also saw participation from Anand Mahindra, chairman, Mahindra, Osamu Suzuki, chairman, Suzuki, Takeshi Uchiyamada, chairman, Toyota Motor and Ulrich Spiesshofer

Jeep reveals its third electric, the Recon
