One of the most likeable aspects of the Nissan Kicks was its 1.5-litre diesel engine. But with the Renault-Nissan Alliance ditching diesel engines with the transition to BS6 emission norms, the company has chosen to enlist the services of a new 1.3litre turbocharged petrol engine with 156bhp and 254Nm helping the Kicks lay claim to the “most powerful” title in its segment, one that it shares with the 2020 Renault Duster which comes with the same engine.
