Morris Lubricants Enters India, Plans Exports to Neighbouring Countries

The UK-based Morris Lubricants, the global manufacturer of lubricants, has entered India through its fully-owned subsidiary, Paterson Lubricants India. Based in Mumbai, the company has appointed George Oakes, an Amalgamation Group company, as a distribution partner in India.
The 148-year-old lubricant manufacturer will be blending its lubricants in India through a partnership company. To begin with the company will establish its presence in all key markets in the western and southern regions of India. The company will initially focus on the automotive segment, starting with aftermarket. It will alongside expand its product offering to include lubricants for both the industrial and power generation segments. Besides, it will explore growth opportunities in the niche market of bio-degradable lubricants and special lubricants.
